Project Overview

Ruswin was engaged to deliver comprehensive electronic security and locksmithing services for the redevelopment of Aurizon Stadium in Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

The multi-stage redevelopment transformed the venue into a modern sports and entertainment facility designed to support large-scale events, improved operational efficiency, and future growth.

Following extensive consultation, design development, and stakeholder collaboration, Ruswin was awarded the project in April 2025 and successfully delivered the full electronic security and locksmithing scope as part of the redevelopment works.

 

Scope of Works

As part of the Design and Construct delivery model, Ruswin developed and implemented a complete integrated security solution tailored to the operational requirements of the venue.

• Design and installation of an integrated electronic access control system
• Supply and commissioning of CCTV and video management software
• Design and implementation of a locksmithing solution integrated with the electronic systems
• Coordination of all cabling infrastructure and concealed conduit installations

 

Planning and Design

Ruswin proposed a fully integrated solution featuring:

• Gallagher as the primary security management platform
• SALTO wireless locking technology integrated with Gallagher for seamless management of both hardwired and wireless doors
• NX Witness Video Management Software paired with Hanwha CCTV cameras for scalable, high-performance monitoring

The selected solution was designed to provide reliability, flexibility, and long-term serviceability while supporting future expansion requirements for the venue.
