Ruswin at QME 2026
Showcasing Integrated Security Solutions for the Mining Industry
Ruswin was proud to exhibit at the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) 2026, connecting with mining professionals, contractors and industry leaders from across Australia.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to demonstrate how integrated security, technology and audio-visual solutions can improve safety, operational efficiency and asset protection in demanding mining environments.
Alongside our valued partners Hanwha Vision and EKA CyberLock, Ruswin showcased technologies designed specifically to address the unique challenges faced by the mining industry. Visitors explored integrated CCTV surveillance, intelligent electronic key management and access control solutions built for harsh and remote operating environments.
As part of the stand, Ruswin also featured the iKLAS Electronic Key Management System, demonstrating how intelligent key cabinet technology complements integrated security systems by improving accountability, controlling key access and providing complete audit trails across mining and critical infrastructure sites.
Together, these technologies highlighted how Ruswin delivers complete, end-to-end solutions that strengthen site security, improve operational visibility and help protect people, assets and critical infrastructure.
Technologies on Display
Visitors to the Ruswin stand had the opportunity to explore a range of integrated solutions, including:
- Hanwha Vision intelligent CCTV and video surveillance
- EKA CyberLock electronic key management and offline access control
- iKLAS Key Management Systems
- Integrated electronic access control
- Commercial audio-visual and communications solutions
- Complete project delivery, installation and ongoing support
Together, these technologies demonstrated how organisations can improve visibility, accountability and operational control across mining operations.
Working Together
One of the key messages throughout QME was the value of partnership.
By combining Ruswin's design, installation and support capabilities with industry-leading technology partners, we demonstrated how multiple systems can operate as one integrated solution.
Whether it's electronic security, intelligent surveillance, electronic key management or operational technology, our focus remains the same—delivering practical solutions built for real-world environments.
Meet the Team | Kevin Buckby
Kevin Buckby, General Manager of Ruswin PNG, joined us at the QME Mackay Mining Exhibition to share his extensive expertise in commercial audio-visual solutions.
Before joining Ruswin, Kevin successfully owned and operated his own audio-visual business, delivering projects across a wide range of industries. Since leading Ruswin PNG, he has overseen the delivery of integrated audio-visual solutions for government, mining and other critical infrastructure projects throughout Papua New Guinea.
His experience spans everything from large-scale display systems and control rooms to integrated communications and commercial AV technologies designed for demanding operational environments.
As Kevin transitions to Australia next year to lead Ruswin's Audio-Visual division, he brings decades of practical experience that will strengthen Ruswin's capability to deliver complete AV solutions across the country. His knowledge, project experience and technical leadership will play an important role in expanding our Australian Audio-Visual offering.

Meet the Team | Zac
Representing Ruswin throughout the exhibition was Zac, who worked alongside our technology partners to demonstrate how integrated security, communications and audio-visual solutions can support mining and critical infrastructure operations.
From discussing CCTV and access control through to electronic key management and commercial audio-visual systems, Zac spent the three-day event connecting with industry professionals and helping visitors understand how Ruswin delivers complete, end-to-end technology solutions.
His practical knowledge and project experience made him a valuable resource for visitors looking to improve site security, operational visibility and workplace efficiency.

Thank You
We would like to thank everyone who visited the Ruswin stand throughout QME 2026.
The conversations, questions and opportunities to learn more about the challenges facing the mining industry made the exhibition a valuable experience for our entire team.
We also extend our thanks to Hanwha Vision, EKA CyberLock and Harcor for partnering with us throughout the event and helping showcase how integrated technologies can deliver better outcomes for mining operations.
We look forward to continuing the conversations and supporting future projects across Australia and the Pacific.
