Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Ruswin’s Role in the Queensland Country Bank Stadium Project - Townsville
Almost five years in the making, Queensland Country Bank Stadium was a transformative, once-in-a-generation project for North Queensland. Delivered as part of the historic Townsville City Deal, the stadium is the home of the North Queensland Cowboys and a world-class, multi-purpose venue designed to deliver long-term economic and social benefits to the region.
Ruswin was proud to be engaged as the local Electronic Security project delivery partner, contributing specialist expertise to this landmark development. Working alongside a project team committed to maximising local involvement, Ruswin supported the successful delivery of the stadium through high-quality, compliant and future-ready security solutions.
Constructed largely by local trades and suppliers, the project emphasised regional capability, skills development and collaboration. Ruswin’s involvement reinforced this commitment by providing local technical support, skilled technicians and ongoing service capabilities, with the stadium delivered in early 2020.
The Queensland Country Bank Stadium project was jointly delivered by the Queensland Government, Australian Government and Townsville City Council, with support from the NRL and the North Queensland Cowboys.
